NAZ Connectors

These neighbor-leaders will be recruited to bring NAZ to the blocks around where they live. They will receive training and be identified as a NAZ leader to their neighbors. NAZ Connectors will be supported by the engagement and outreach leadership, and will be considered a “front-line” connection to families in NAZ. This position will receive a monthly stipend for their leadership.

NAZ Connectors will:

  • Learn how to use NAZ Connect for the purpose of training new families on the system.
  • Have a small roster of families to support in creating and moving on an achievement plan.
  • Support families’ plans by helping navigate NAZ Connect, encourage key achievement-focused steps, supporting families to attend key appointments and other agreed upon steps, and providing moral support and relationship connections.
  • Attend regular support meetings held by NAZ with the whole NAZ Connector team and get ongoing training relevant to their support of families.
