The Associate position provides strong administrative support for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and other key leaders within the organization. This position provides ongoing administrative support and has specific responsibilities to support events and training, coordinate various projects, and develop presentation materials. This position interacts with internal staff and external stakeholders and must have exemplary interpersonal and organizational skills.
The Evaluation Director leads the development and supports the use of tools, strategies, and processes that enable data to drive results across NAZ. The Evaluation Director will be the primary liaison in our partnership with a team of evaluators at Wilder Research and may also design and implement internal evaluation efforts that are not reliant on external evaluators. The Evaluation Director will be skilled in helping to lead the evaluation of NAZ’s impact on the target population of low income, African American families in North Minneapolis. The Director will also lead in establishing a body of “evidence,” based on data, of what programmatic and/or systematic strategies prove most effective in achieving NAZ’s stated goals as a backbone and across the collaborative. This focus on evidence will enable NAZ to contribute to broader population-level results of “all children graduate high school career and college-ready.” The Evaluation Director will assist NAZ in determining the best approaches to evaluating both the programmatic work conducted by NAZ and its partners as well as NAZ’s role as the “backbone organization” for the collective impact work including policy and systems efforts.
The Foundation and Corporate Relations Officer will be responsible for deepening current institutional funding relationships, discovering new opportunities for funding partnerships and effectively managing the strategic steps to ensure the best possible result for the NAZ and its partners. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), this position will lead all research, writing, reporting, and relationship tracking related to institutional support, including corporations, foundations. The position manages direct contact with key representatives, ensuring the CEO, CDO, Board members, and other NAZ leaders are involved in an expanding number of high-level strategic partnership conversations. Additionally, the position will align its efforts with the Chief Operating Officer and their direct reports to navigate the intersection between implementation and resource opportunities. Ideal candidates must be able to identify funding opportunities matched with the NAZ ecosystem needs and map out the relationship, proposal, and reporting steps necessary to secure funding.
NAZ is a data-driven organization. We are looking for an experienced Database Manager to lead the ongoing strategic development of a data system that is continuously evolving to track the goals and achievements of our enrolled families and children. This system is shared among a network of more than 40 nonprofit organizations and schools.
Urban Homeworks, Inc. (UHW) is seeking an experienced professional for the Real Estate Development team. In direct partnership and oversight of the Real Estate Development Director, the primary role of the Project Manager is to manage affordable housing development projects, primarily single-family homeownership and some multi-family rental projects. The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing development activities, budgets and schedules from site identification and pre-development, financing and acquisition, construction contracting and oversight to final sale or lease-up.
The Scholar Coach position is a part of the Total Learning Classroom program, an innovation of Minnesota Reading Corps. Scholar Coaches support students at Minnesota schools with high academic needs.
As a Scholar Coach, you’ll be embedded in a K-3 classroom and partner with a licensed teacher to help students become better readers and promote overall academic engagement. With great training and onsite coaching, we’ll prepare you to work one-on-one or in small groups to help kids in an immersive classroom setting to develop their reading skills and confidence! Students make the most progress when you are there, so Scholar Coaches serve during school hours, Monday-Friday and are needed for the whole school year.
