Measuring Progress At Every Step
NAZ Partners will utilize real-time evaluation to determine what’s working, what’s not working, and progress toward our end goal of preparing all NAZ children for college.
Three indicators have been selected to tell us whether we are on the path toward our long-term outcome. Together, these summarize school children’s level of academic preparation at three key points along their school career. These indicators are:
Indicator 1:
The percentage of NAZ children who enter kindergarten ready to learn.
Indicator 2:
The percentage of NAZ children who are at grade level in reading and math.
Indicator 3:
The percentage of NAZ children who graduate from high school ready for college.
Data for the third indicator will be provided at a later time as it becomes available. It is expected that this indicator will include a combination of the four-year high school graduation rate and a measure of college-readiness derived from standardized test scores yet to be identified.
