To commemorate our ten-year anniversary, the Northside Achievement Zone is thrilled to welcome two-time Grammy Award-winning singer and Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson as the headliner for our inaugural SOARNorth Gala.
Hudson is an extraordinary talent, having most recently played Aretha Franklin in the highly anticipated biopic, “Respect.” In addition, she has served as a coach on NBC’s “The Voice,” and made her Broadway debut in the Tony award-winning revival of “The Color Purple.” In 2007, Hudson won an Academy Award for her role as Effie White in the smash hit movie musical “Dreamgirls.”
The safety of our patrons, staff, and Northside families is our top priority. Safety procedures (including a COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test) will reflect federal and state recommended guidelines. Updates will be made available on the SOARNorth Gala web page and communicated via email well in advance of the event.
Should you have any questions about these event guidelines, please don’t hesitate to contact Erica Gates at email@example.com or at 763.221.4497.
